Question : I have had a cold (productive cough, runny nose, sore throat) since Friday 9- 28. I have been feeling better and my sore throat went away, and I've been taking Mucinex DM (2 tablets every 12 hours) so I can cough out the mucus more easily. Just now I noticed this rash on my neck. It is only mildly itchy. what is it? what should I do?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

From your description this seems to be viral or drug induced rash. If its a viral, then it will resolve when the viral resolves. If its medicine related then it will resolve when medicine is discontinued.

Meanwhile, you can discontinue your medicines and see if it gets better.
