Question : I have had a cold since Wednesday. Yesterday developed a cough, today developed a fever(100, normally 97.4) Also headache.

Should I wait and see or go to a clinic?

Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection.

I suggest to use anti-inflammatory medication for the fever such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.

It will also help in relieving the headache .

For the course you can use a mucolytic such as Mucinex.

I also recommend to drink liquids and rest.
