Hi
Groin(Inguinal)hernias are common.Therr is no Medical treatment for this.Surgery is the only option.
In few people,Hernial sac contains Bowel .It will cause pain once the bowel is obstructed.If Surgery is delayed,the bowel becomes gangrenous also.So, Hernia Surgery should not be delayed.
Please consult a Surgeon and proceed further
