Question : Hi there,

I have had a problem with my foreskin now for coming up to two months whereby any masturbation or sex creates little cuts on my forekin, which bleed - and then the next day they resemble tiny stretch marks.

These began when I am pretty sure I got thrush from my girlfiend, as my penis became itchy etc.

Ever since this, I've been giving myself time off from sex and masturbation, but when I try again the cuts reappear whilst I am erect and then becomes painful so I must then stop.

I had a frenuloplasty at the age of 21, and I am now nearly 40 and have not had any problems with a tight foreskin since this procedure. This is becoming problematic as it has now been nearly 3 months since I was last able to have sex with my girlfriend.

Is there any prescription I need for it? Or might I need an operation if it continues?

Thanks for query and uploading photographs of your penis which reveal what ia called as Muco Cutaneous Genital Candodiasis .

You have not mentioned whether you are diabetic or not .

Normally this problem crops up at this age and is mostly due to uncontrolled Diabetis.

Please get your blood sugagr tests done to rule out /confirm the same and consult your family Physician after you get the reports.

Start taking antibiotics like Augmentin and Fluconozole twice daily along with anti fungal gel like Muconozole for local application .

Do not use any soap to clean the genitals .Clean it twice with warm water,

If problem persists you may need to undergo surgery of Circumcision .

Hi, I’m not diabetic as far as I am aware but I will get that checked out upon your recommendation.

I should point out that there is no pain or any kind of cuts or blood etc except for when my penis is erect where the foreskin is stretched the most.

I will obviously try and see my local GP so I might be able to get some antibiotics
