Question : Hello, over the past few weeks I have had a small red rash on my perineo. It has been itchy, it hurts when I am sexually active, and lately it’s began to bleed. I have never had this before so I am a little concerned. I have never had hemroids which when reading about them it sounds like that’s what this is but I thought hemroids were only in your butt. I just started a new job so I can’t fake any time off work. I really need to find out if this is an emergency or not:

Brief Answer:
You should be examined clinically

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Haemorrhoids will come from anal opening. They will cause bleeding per rectum.
If the lesions are around Anal opening, they cannot be Haemorrhoids.
So, you should be examined clinically. Please consult a General Surgeon and proceed further.
For Haemorrhoids of early stages, Medical treatment may help.Patient should take plenty of liquids,High fiber diet.
Spicy foods should be avoided.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery
Regards
