Question : I have had a tension headache with some light headedness for 10 days.
I went to a DMG express clinic and was given nasal spray:
1. he said my ears look like they need to pop
2. He said it was nasal congestion there
3. The congestion between the two could cause a headache.
I’ve been taking the nasal spray for 2 days without any relief. What is the next step? How long until i should get additional evaluation?
The headache is a 4 out of 10 and it doesn’t get worse. It sometimes gets better

                                    Brief Answer:
Sinusitis to consider and evaluate further.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query.
The next step in your case should be an evaluation about possible sinusitis.
Fir this purpose, imaging of sinuses ( x-rays, CT scan ) and examination by an ENT Doctor is necessary.
If sinusitis will be confirmed, then more treatment options should be considered ( antibiotics, NSAID, endoscopic treatment ).
Discuss with an ENT Doctor for these issues.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
