
I Have Had My Period For Over A Week. It

Question: I have had my period for over a week. It is unusually heavy. So much that I am changing my tampon every 2-4 hours. Each time that I do, there are blood clots. I am not sure if this is something that I should go to the ER for.

Here is the information you requested. I am 41, single no kids, nor a chance of being pregnant. I am 5ft 5 inches, 340 lbs previous cycle was around 12/20/20. I have no known medical nor hormonal problems besides obesity. I did have something similar to this about 10 years ago.
