Question : I have had sex twice with someone and each time I have bleed a lot afterwards. The second time I bled and there were these two big globs of flesh that came out of me. I just came off my period a week ago and when i had sex the penetration was very deep which is something im not used to. Do you know what this could be? i was also told by my PCP who normally does my pap that i may have fibroids but im not sure if this is related to that. please help!

I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) The bleeding that occurred could be due to the deep penetrative sex that could have caused your womb to bleed.

2) The flesh like thing what you observed could be blood clots or endometrial tissue.

3) I suggest your request your PCP to refer you to a gynecologist for an ultrasound scan to assess source of bleeding.
