I Have Had Some Sort Of Mental Disturbances Long On And Been Taking Drugs According To Few Neuro And Psychiatrists
Question: I have had some sort of mental disturbances long on and been taking drugs according to few neuro and psychiatrists.I have experienced 3/4 times faintings/seizure,whatsoever.Now a days a specialist has diagnosed me as obsessive...nothing specific.presently I am having encorate chrono400 od,panazep 12.5 hs and Inderal la 40 at breakfast.A vitamin capsule,might be Becosule also added.Now my condition is not bad....but I can't say some thing how would remain an hour later.It includes back pain,severe head ache,gas,itching or rashes,dry mouth and obvious hair loss...from my point of view it's all are for my poor interpretetation with my self and lack of presence of mind.All of my intellect,experiences and common senses going deep down....I am 48 male.Please save me.It's been 29 years I'm suffering...being humiliated,afraid......

You have mentioned that you have episodes of seizures/fainting attacks and I think Encorate Chrono has been prescribed to you for these issues.
Papazep and Inderal are for anxiety and obsessive issues. You are doing good with medicines and this is good. Your current symptoms are backache, headache, gas, itching, rashes, dry mouth and hair loss. Hair loss can be attributed to Encorate Chrono and for this I will advise you to talk to your doctor in your next visit and ask for dose adjustment or change in medicine if needed. Sodium Valproate is known to result in hair loss.
Dryness of mouth might occur with PAROXETINE (Panazep). If you are doing good on mental issues and your thoughts are controlled then the dose of the drug can be reduced. The dose can be reduced to 10 mg and this should help you. Please talk with your doctor for that.
Dose of Inderal can be reduced to 20 mg too, or this can be divided to 20 mg morning and after noon and this will help you in symptoms. This will help in control of anxiety throughout the day.
For issues of sleep, please improve the sleep hygiene. Drugs like sedatives like Etizolam or Clonazepam can be added in low dose to improve the sleep. The drug can be used on SOS basis too. You can talk with your doctor for this.
