Question : Hi there question I am 49 years old and I have had stomach issues on and of for about 6 months I am wondering I have had in the passed gastritis and I have ibs but I notice after I eat maybe 30 min my upper stomach hurts any suggestions

Hello,
Have seen your details and i appreciate your concerns,
Before answering the query my dear patient i would need some more details,
Do you feel pain in Right upper quadrant or middle upper part.
See if pain is in Right side of upper abdomen post eating meals it could be suggestive of blockage in bile duct or gall stones while if pain is in mid upper part it is suggestive of Gastritis/Heartburn.
It would be good if you make the location clear.

Most of the time it is mid upper stomach like where the stomach opens sometimes it is left upper stoamch bust mostly mid also makes me neaseated

Hi again,
Its GERD/Gastritis.
Due to reflux of acid back in esophagus pain is there.
Suggestion-
Get an endoscopy done.
Take tablet prisolec once in morning empty stomach for 21 days.
Follow a bland diet.
Home cooked food would be good.
Avoid spices.
You would start feeling better in 2-3 days.
