Brief Answer:
Pregnancy unlikely to occur in the presence of contraceptive implant

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank You for contacting Ask a Doctor. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem. I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. There could be a number of causes for bleeding. Most common include "altered hormonal levels" in the body which can result in bleeding. If i am correct you have had implant to prevent pregnancy. Am i correct? If so then pregnancy is unlikely to occur until you get the implant removed. Once removed, it takes a while to get the hormonal levels to optimal levels for pregnancy to occur. Once levels become normal. Pregnancy can occur as normal.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health !!

Brief Answer:
Could be due to hormonal imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hello

What was the life of implant? As mentioned earlier, altered levels of hormones could be an important cause of abnormal bleeding. Can you tell following questions regarding bleeding:
1. Since when are you having bleeding?
2. How many pads are being soaked per day?
3. Does clots come or its only spotting?
4. Have you undergone ultrasound pelvis recently? If yes then plz share its report.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Hormonal imbalance probable cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for the answers. I have gone through them. Usually if patient comes to my clinic with similar complaint then i prescribe her Cap Transamine (Tranexamic acid) 250mg and get Ultrasound pelvis to check for uterus. I would suggest you to once visit your nearest hospital and get ultrasound pelvis done. Meanwhile you can discuss about the prescription of Cap transamine from your local doctor.

Thank you
