Question : I have had this thing come up behind my left tonsils situated both sides , its been there for over a year on and off soreness? Sometimes it sore and pain resonates to my ear. Can you advise on what this is ? I have included a number of pictures to help you see... thanks

Hello dear,

I see the photos you attached and they seem to be tonsils . They are full of crypts , folding and holes, but are not irritated and have normal colour.
They can get inflammation easily or even infected as food particles stay on the holes.
Doing gargling with salted water may help remove the food particles from tonsils and prevent infection.

What are the white bits on it? And why is it sore sometimes ? And they are different on both sides and pain in left ear where its sore ? My throat is often sore aswell sometimes ?...

The white bits are saliva or mucus doesn't seem bad at this moment.
It is sore because it can get infected or inflammation often due to the remaining food particles there.
It is normal not to be symmetrical and identical . The ear pain is normal if the tonsils get infected.
