There are many causes of hair loss and treatment depends on the cause.
The most common causes are anemia, thyroid dysfunction, deficiency of vitamins, hormonal imbalance, recent history of fever like typhoid and dengue, accidents, surgery, stress, crash dieting, certain medicines, chronic disease and recent child birth.
I would recommend you to get your haemoglobin, thyroid function tests, serum vitamin D levels, serum vitamin B12 levels and serum ferritin levels checked.
Meanwhile you can start with hair supplement containing biotin ( Tablet follihair) once daily and apply minoxidil 2 percent lotion on the scalp twice daily.
This needs to be continued for 3-4 months to see significant results.
