Question: I am seeing my doctor tomorrow but I have health anxiety and worried about this. A month ago I was horseback riding and was bucked off and landed hard causing to think I broke my hip. Fortunately I did not. Ever since though I have been dealing with vertigo when I go to lay down or if I move my head to fast, I feel like my balance is off more and my ears get a ringing in them. I have headaches that come and go (always have had them).I'm only 24

Brief Answer:
Physical examination and some tests would be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. Vertigo is a symptom of illusory movement. It arises because of asymmetry in the vestibular system due to damage to or dysfunction of the labyrinth, vestibular nerve, or central vestibular structures in the brainstem. Did you fall on your head also? Physical examination and some tests would be helpful such as Dix-Hallpike maneuver is most useful to confirm the diagnosis of BPPV( Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) and scan to find out any problem in your brain.

I hope that It can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I Hope you have good health.

I'm not sure if I hit my head because the pain in my hip was awful. But why would I need brain scans?
