I Have Hurt My Teeth Accidently Five Days, And My

Question: I have hurt my teeth accidently five days, and my lower front tooth is displaced (protrude and tilt forward) a bit (tilted forward for may be 1- 1.5 mm based on visual inspection.) I also note fracture line on tooth surface.
I went to see a dentist the next morning. But since I did not feel much discomfort or pain on that day, the dentist said no need to do anything. He also said there is no way to restore the tooth position. After some biting test, he said that my lower front teeth’s force during biting is not even and the force of my displaced tooth is stronger and he said that in the long term, this uneven use of force may result in cracking of the tooth (some cracks on the tooth surface are noticed) , and so he suggested to grind my displaced tooth a bit lower.
I then go to another dentist the same day, after some checking, she said should be not serious and since I hurt my teeth only one day ago, she asked me to observe two weeks to see whether conditions will improve or worsen. She asked me not to use the front teeth to eat for the time being for one week so as to give time for the teeth to recover. She could not tell the extent of protrusion/tilting since I have no previous record of the position of my tooth.
Progress in these few days:
However, in these few days, I have more discomfort. I feel the displaced tooth touches upper teeth during occlusion, and feel unnatural. Also, I tried to move my tooth and seems that it is a little bit loosened, but I dare not move it any more, lest making the condition even worse. I feel a bit pain of the tooth (e.g. when brushing teeth, or drinking hot water) but not serious.
Now I use my inner teeth when eating and eat slowly with care. But when I eat solid food, since I need to bite the food, the process somehow will touch and irritate my displaced tooth. So I now mainly eat fluid food for fear of further hurting my displaced tooth. My questions/concerns –
1. Since problems arise these few days, should I rush to dentist for emergency actions? I will have my next dental appointment on 10 April (i.e. 5 days later). Should I wait and see how my conditions progress?
2. My first dentist said no way to restore the position. Is this true?
3. What possible options are available to help in my case? I do not want to get my tooth removed. I am not old and want to preserve my tooth. (I have uploaded pictures of my teeth)
4. Is the treatment time bound? Any prime treatment time, within one week, one month? I asked because I will soon have a major eye surgery (to remove epiretinal membrane) on 23 April. Is it advisable to have my dental treatment just a week or a few days before my surgery, as I worry this may affect my eye operation. However, if my dental treatment is time bound, I must go for it and do I need to postpone my eye surgery?
5. What is the rough time it will take for the possible treatment option(s) for completion?
6. I have mitral valve prolapse and mild mitral regurgitation. What to be alert/pay attention or need to tell the dentist if I receive dental treatment?
Grateful for expert advice. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Please upload pictures again.
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for writing to us.
Well the first thing that I need to tell you is that whether the tooth can be retained or not depends on whether the tooth is intact or there is fracture of crown or root of the tooth.
Also if there is displacement due to injury, how much displacement is there that will decide the course of treatment or prognosis of the tooth..
So first of all please upload the x rays and pictures of your tooth so that I can advise you better..
Depending of that I can answer you for the questions that you have sent me..
Please revert back with pictures and x rays..
Thanks.

Thanks Dr. I have uploaded my photos but I do not have x-ray on hand. They are kept by my dentist. I will try to get the x-rays next time when I see my dentist.
I was told by my dentist, after examining the x-ray film, that the root of the hurt teeth look fine, and he told me to observe for a longer time (say 1 - 2 months) for the hurt teeth to heal, or if by that time, conditions worsen e.g. pain persist, may need root canal treatment or even extraction.
Dr., as a general question, is what my dentist said true, i.e. no way to restore the position of tilted tooth ?
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Did not receive the pictures.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have not received any upload.
Please upload it again.
Also if the tooth is tilted due to trauma then its prognosis depends on various factors like any tooth crown or root fracture, the mobility grade etc.
So proper evaluation is a must for diagnosis.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Clinical image is not diagnostic.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Well as your teeth are not in alignment, an x ray and a clinical examination is a must for correct treatment line..
Also the grade of mobility or loosening of the tooth has to be checked..
You should consult an Endodontist and get evaluated..
Thanks.
