Question : I have just been told I have liver disease. I also have gained 30 pounds since last July.

I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you should get evaluated to see the kind of liver disease that you are probably having.
I think you should do a total blood count and a biochemical blood balance.
You should do liver chemistry SGOT, SGPT, bilirubin direct and indirect to see the liver conditions.
You should also do triglycerides, cholesterol, ldl and hdl levels also glucose levels.
You can send me the results of the tests to evaluate your situation.
