Question : I have mild to moderate cystic acne and I am contemplating taking isotretinoin as I would like to get off my bc pill within a year or so. I know when I come off my skin will get worse. Currently i experience around 1 severe, deep and painful cyst a month that takes 2 week to heal. I woudl like to know more about Isotretinoin as these deep cysts affect my life, my mood and mental health. I know it will get worse if I stop XXXXXXX and i know that I would have to be on XXXXXXX while taking Isotretinoin. My question is can it be prescrived for mild/ moderate acne?
