Question : I have never had regular bowel movements actually rarely go for years. I have a colonoscopy regularly
I have not had a bowel movement in a while now at all and gained a little weight. In past it Sometimes looks like little rocks. never a normal bowel movement for years.
Yesterday I tried a fleet liquid suppository and a little brownish water is all that came out . Nothing since,'
I have never been regular
If anything, small rock looking “Poop) but rarely now even that.
I am not uncomfortably constipated but my stomach does feel hard needless to say I need to have a bowel movement to be healthy right?and I. Guessing can cause a weight gain.
Granted I am gaining
I eat a healthy diet Thank
Usually
BREAKFAST
Fiber cereal with skim milk or protein bar or oatmeal
1 cup caffeine coffee with a good amount half and half
Lunch usually melon with goat cheese and rice Cake that has (15 calories) or protein bar if in a rush
Snack( day or night) hard boiled egg white sometimes put 1/2 teaspoon Parmesan cheese
Dinner
6 ounces protein
Monday - Thursday and Usually Sunday
chicken/fish/pork chop
Lots of vegetables
Salad with balsamic
A cocktail and wine
Red meat on weekends.
Cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus most often. A lot olive oil a little salt roasted in oven
Huge green salad with balsamic
1.5 ounce vodka or similar
I was heavy child
I am thin now
But gaining weight a few ounces a lot on me
What to do?
I have swallowed gum my entire life. I am 66 years old now .
Some days lately a pound or a little more lately.
At my height that’s a lot
I am not anorexic I look nice and thin
When we are with friends on weekend they can’t believe how much I eat and drink. So large amount of food
This is has been my maintenance plan

Brief Answer:
Possibility of IBS must be considered.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms are likely suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS). As the colonoscopy is normal, there is nothing significant there in the large bowel to worry.
If there is impacted stool, you have to get admitted in the hospital and the impacted fecal matter has to be removed by enema or manually.
I suggest you to check your thyroid function test(TFT) because hypothyroidism can cause constipation.
Do you have any anxiety related issues? Because anxiety and stress are related to IBS.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

Thank you.
i am in New York where we are quarantined due to
covid-19
I do have a lot of stress in my life.
I have not moved bowels regularly for as long as I can remember.
Today I did have 3 hard rocks of pool come out and feel particularly like there is stuff stuck in me today. My stomach very hard
I would prefer not go to hospital now as there is a very high amount of covona cases where people are dying.
This situation may go on for many months in New York State especially.
Anything I can do now.
