I Have Not Been Feeling Well For Over A Week.

Question: I have not been feeling well for over a week. Last Tuesday, I started to have small welts on my face that got worse on Saturday and have now gone down and almost away after using Cerave Anti Itch Cream. With my sore throat, I was concerned about strep. However, I took a test 3 times and that was negative. However, I did a urine test which came back with calcium 2.5, creatinine Neg .9, Microalbumin 80, Glocose Neg. Billirubin Normal, Ketosis Negative, Ascorbate 2.8, Blood, Neg. Ph > .5; Protein Trace, Urobiinoyen Negative, Nitrite Neg. Keukocytes Neg.

Something showed on my kidneys last year at Mayo but then was dismissed. WIth these results and the way I am feeling I am worried. I'm 50 years old 192, athletic female.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your blood reports are normal. Your welts has less likely to do with sore throat. You can upload a photo of the rash so that I am better able to help.

If you're having continuous sore throat repeat a throat swab and culture. Start betadine gargle. Do a X ray paranasal sinus to see the sinuses. Take fluticasone nasal spray if you have any allergies. You can have omeprazole tablet as it reduces acid reflux which helps in reducing sore throat. You can warm saline gargle along with betadine gargle.

Consult dermatology for the welts over face.

I did not see your answer today. However, I visited a doctor and found out I have pancreatic issues, liver and kidney issues.

I feel that I need to cancel my subscription as diagnosing from afar does not work and until now, when I clicked on the view answers, it gave it could not reach the page.
