I Have Noticed That My Right Testicle Was Hanging Quite Low Comparing To The Other

default
Posted on 2 days ago
Question: hi, i am male, 49 years old, for the last 2 month i have experienced blood in my semen, not full red colour but light brown-ish.
I have slight discomfort just above my groin on right side, intermittent shooting pain, nothin very painful but it is becoming constant mild dull pain, although lower back pain.
I have noticed that my right testicle was hanging quite low comparing to the other and was sensitive ... that was about 2 months ago ..... now it looks fine.
I have done self examination ... testicles looks fine to me (no lumps, bumps, changes in size ....although 2 month ago just skin around right testicle felt sicker-swollen a bit).
I have no problem with erection.

I had my Se prostate Ag level test done - 0.8 ng/L.

I do weight lifting.

Any advice ?

Brief Answer:
Mostly due to infection of either Seminal Vesicle or Prostate .

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for query .
Based on the facts that you have posted brownish color semen that you have been ejaculating since last two months is mostly due to infection of either Seminal Vesicle ( Seminal Vesiculitis) or Prostate (Prostatitis).

You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
4) Semen Examination and Semen culture .

.Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

In the mean time start taking antibiotics like Doxicycline and Nitrofurantoin twice daily and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report .You will need to take antibiotics for 4-6 weeks .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
