Question : I have pain in my lower right side of abdomen. If you were to connect my belly button to my right hip bone on a diagonal line - it is a spot right in the middle of that. I had pain there about a month ago for a day -- then wednesday night at exercise class when I went to do a plank the pain was immediate and intense to that spot so I stopped. Last night same thing so I did not do that exercise. All night as I slept and turned - I could feel this annoyance and had discomfort in certain positions. I feel it now -not intense pain but some level of annoyance.

Brief Answer:
Please give additional information.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Pointed pain in a certain site as you have mentioned can be due to various reasons.
Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
Any associated urinary symptoms like redness, burning, frequency or so?
Any Gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, bloating, loose or hard stools?
Any local swelling in the same area?
If you put pressure on abdominal wall (on tightening the abdominal wall by raising the head in lying down position) does it cause pain/tenderness?
Does pain increase on putting deep pressure in relaxed position?
Any other information please.

Awaiting for details.

No problems with urine or bowel movements
No gastro symptons
not sure if swelling- a bit bloated maybe
if I raise my head - no pain- maybe a slight tenderness but not hardly noticeable
yes pain increases if I put pressure on it in relaxed position

Brief Answer:
Most probably inflammatory lesion as discussed

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
your additional history is suggestive of one of the following:
Appendicitis.
Diverticulitis.
Lymph node mass.
Ureteric stone is less likely to cause tenderness although it can cause spasmodic pain.
The best diagnosis can be done by the relevant tests of blood, urine and stool.
And most importantly CT scan can be diagnostic.

Please get these done to get an early and proper diagnosis.
Please give feedback.
Feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

With Regards.
