Question : Hi, I have pain like burning or stabbing in my right side between my chest and hip, and I have in this pain maybe 2-3days. earlier I have experienced as well pain in my right breast kind of gas or something else,l.please advice what can I do or if I can go physically to doctor for further advice. Thank you.

Dear Dr Dorina,

I have a little bit fever, but there is no bloating or other symptoms present.

The pain is going on and off but sometimes during night the pain remains. I have also back pain that associate with during day and sometimes at night.

Probably kidney stone or urinary tract infection

Hi again dear,

The symptoms are probably related to kidney stones or a urinary tract infection.
I suggest to do some examination:
-A urine test
-An abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation
Meanwhile,I suggest taking anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.
I also recommend to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice.
Warm compresses at the painful area can also be helpful.
