A space occupying lesion is a crude sentence and basically means any mass or lesion which occupy space.
It can be a malignancy..It can be a benign mass...It can be a collection of fluid,pus or blood.
Are you sure nature of lesion is not mentioned in PET -CT report because PET-CT is one of the latest investigation and it can rule out normal mass growth from a malignancy.
I can't read the images as that comes under scope of radiology.
However if you can translate the findings then you could pen them down.
