Question : I have sores on the sides of my lips, and a sore throat, woke up with it on wednesday, strep culture negative, covid negative, picture here https://imgur.com/a/JRCnhJ4

should I go to er or wait til monday?

It could be pharyngitis

Hi,

Can you upload the picture in the healthcare magic site?

It can be allergic pharyngitis or aphthous ulcers.

I usually suggest tablet augmentin 1 gm twice daily for 1 week.

Take betadine gargle twice daily alternate with warm saline gargle. Take pantoprazole 40 tablet once daily before food for 1 week. Take vitamin supplement like tablet becousole or zincovit tablet once daily for 1 month. Take more liquide preferably warm. You can take paracetamol 1 gm thrice daily for pain. Review after 1 week.
