Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. Petechiae are small 1-3 mm, red, no macular lesions. Do you feel any raised lesions? Thyroid disorder with hypothyroidism or harsimotos you may also have mild anemia because of vitamin B12 deficiency and platelet disorder. So you should be careful taking aspirin or ibuprofen. When your platelets are low it can cause you purpura and petechiae that is also commonly present in this condition. You should go to see a doctor to check platelet count. If this happens your doctor will treat it with medicine that is helpful for your platelet count.

I hope that It can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I Hope you have good health.

Best regards,
Dr. Heang Chan Raksmey, General and Family Physician
