Brief Answer:
oral and topical agents may be useful

Detailed Answer:
HI,

If using one of the meds is not an option, you can also try topical agents such as chloroseptic spray/gargle or covonia spray. These contain a combination of pain medication and an antiseptic, they are commonly used for sore throat but can be used in other circumstances as well where there are lesions in the mouth.

Gargling with salt water in the mouth, may also help as well

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
Thanks.
