I Have This 6- 7 Mm Human Micro In My Body

There are limitations but you can try the CT scan if the MRI scan is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I recall having discussed the microchip imaging previously and would like to continue the discussion further to help you take a desired decision on how to go about imaging the implant.
Xray has not detected it so it must be containing less amount of metallic content or might difficult to visualise in the thigh because of the bones.
Ultrasound scan is a skilled test and finding a microchip on ultrasound can help only if you are sure that the chip in in the place where scanning is done. Ultrasound scans small areas with good resolution but then if you are not sure about the location then it can get difficult.
PET scan will not help because it is for imaging metabolically active lesions and a microchip is a foreign body and will not cause it to be visualised on PET scan images. You will not get any idea of the foreign body as no radiotracer exchange will take place between the microchip and the blood elements.
CT scan has got a small chance of showing a microchip due to the structure and can help and was discussed earlier in my previous reply.
MRI scan is done and is normal so it is not showing any microchip implant in the images.

Plain CT scan of the left thigh and thin section images
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in to us.
A foreign body of a rice grain like size can be visualised in a thin section CT scan of the thigh area.
We have thin section CT scan images that can take 1 mm thick sections and will show a foreign body showing in the picture. A plain scan is enough.
The order might suggest a plain CT scan of the left thigh and thin section images.

Whats the difference from thin section & thick sections?
Thick sections in CT scan is 5 mm or 10 mm and willnot show the foreignbody

Many foreign bodies can be visualised on CT scan 1 mm thin sections
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
We use CT scan to located migrated foreign bodies and there are many reports of it visualised on 1 mm thin sections. So you can always try to located if you are sure that the foreign body is within and will not undergo any kind of disintegration or change in size.
Any other methods are discussed previously and CT scan is one of the better choices.

I am sure the Foreign Body Object is the same size as a grain of rice. & it has migrated in my deep tissues. Also x-ray can't locate no foriegn object
Recommend a thin section CT scan for the needful
