Question : I have this dark spot on my heel. I first noticed it 2 weeks ago and it has not gotten smaller. I did not injure myselfand there is no pain. if you zoom in, it looks like tentacles. Do I need to worry about melanoma?

Brief Answer: XXXXXXX noir, keep under observation for few weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query.
It could be XXXXXXX noir which is a black pigmentation on the heel or sole of the foot due to some unnoticed trauma.
Nothing to worry about. Keep it under observation for few more weeks. It should resolve on its own.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

thank you. I had noticed when zooming in the long streams that were not so pronounced two weeks ago when I first noticed. Is there a point I need to take further steps? including first picture.

Welcome
Detailed Answer:
I would recommend you to consult a doctor and go for careful paring of the lesion as it is generally sufficient to remove the pigment.
