Question : I have times that the urge to urinate is quick and I cannot wait. I am a 73 year old male with no medical problems or medication.

I read your query and here is my advice.

There are several conditions which can cause the urge to urinate but main causes can be urinary track infection or enlarged prostate.
You firstly may need to do an urine analysis and uroculture to check for infection.
If the results are positive you should take antibiotics that are advised by the antibiograme.
If you are having negative results in urine analysis you may need to do an ultrasound to check prostate conditions. An enlarged prostate can give frequent urination, urination at night and urge to urinate.
