Question : Hi, I have struggled with brain fog for several years; It mainly manifests as me struggling visualizing things (I used to be a very visual thinker), poor sleep, slow thinking, poor memory etc..
I have tried so many things, and nothing seems to work. However, there is one thing that seems to be a consistent; If I try to correct my vitamin D deficiency, my symptoms worsen; Every time.. This has been true for years.

Lately, I tried to correct it, and kept at it, hoping things would get worse before they improved. However, I just got even worse; For the first time ever, I experienced depression, excessive thirst, smelling metal that isn't there and even worse sleep.

My doctors don't take me seriously. What do you recommend I should do?

Brief Answer:
Depressio

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone through your query and understood your concern.

All your symptoms can be correlated to depression.
If you're depressed, you may feel sad, hopeless and lose interest in things you used to enjoy. Exactly the symptoms that you described in your history.

The only think that i recoomend is to consult live a local phsychiatrist in order to confirm the diagnosis, to start the right treatement and to be followed up in the future.

I m sure that if you start the right treatement your symptoms will disappear and your will have a better quality of life.I have seen these positive changes in many of my depressed patients after they start the right treatement.

Hope this is helpful.
wish you all the best!
