Question : I have trouble standing even for a minute. I can walk and walk outside 2 miles every day. Have had this condition for years and I have accommodated for it by leaning on the wall or the side of the elevator or avoiding situations where there is no chair. One neurologist thought it was POTS but when I went to my primary doctor she ordered a whole cardiology work up and a brain MRI and I don't have any heart issue or anything they could find. But I still have it and it is a constant bother and I would like to get to the bottom of it.

Your symptoms seem to be related to benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

It is a diagnosis related to a disorder of the inner ear.

A MRI is recommended to exclude other possible causes of your symptoms.

Meanwhile, I recommend using Meclizine hydrochloride (Antivert)

You can use this medication to relieve the symptoms.

It is also recommended to lower sodium intake in your diet.
