Question : I have trouble with my voice. Sometimes I can barely eek out a sound. Other times I'm about 85% normal. I have mucus from my nose to the back of my throat. I think my vocal cords are coated with mucus. What can I do or take to fix the problem?

It could be due to post nasal drip, which could be due to deviated nasal septum.
So to confirm above conditions, you need to visit ENT specialist, who will also look your vocal cords with laryngoscope.
Meanwhile start antihistamines drugs like cetrizine and do gargle with warm water.
