Question : I have twins (girls) and they are 4.3 yrs old. What deworming tablet (along with dosage) can I give them?

For deworming you can give Albendazole. Single dose 400 mg albendazole is needed in this age. It is to be given at bed time after meals for better absorption. Usually single dose is sufficient as prophylaxis but for treatment(if there are visible worms or perianal itching) the dose should be repeated after 15 days for better effect.
Usually side effects are less but there can be abdominal discomfort, Nausea, vomiting etc. If you are noticing any abnormal symptoms please consult your pediatrician.
