Question : I have two very small pimples on pimple head for the last 3 months. There is no problem with urinating. I have shown to a urologist and he asked me to show it to a dermatologist. He asked me to apply Lulimac cream for 14 days. After 10 days pimple has not gone but colour of gland has changed to slight purple. Please advice.
Brief Answer:
Fungal infection, continue with lulimac cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be a fungal infection which has resolved leaving post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
I would recommend you to continue applying lulimac cream for another 2-3 weeks.
This will normalise the colour.
Also keep the area dry and clean and wear cotton underwear.

Mam
As adviced earlier I am applying both the medicines(lulimac and Fusidic acid cream) for the last 8 days. I am sending fresh pics. The area has got slight redness on the tip and slight brownish and purple on one side. Out of two pimples, one disappeared for 2 days but has errupted back. There is no problem with urinating . The itchiness has also reduced. Maam do you suggest some change in medicine. Maam the pimple small and there is no pus/water inside .Please advice.

Hi
I have seen the newly attached pictures and can appreciate the pimples.
I would recommend you to take antibiotic like tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily for 5 days and antihistaminic like tablet fexofenafine 180 mg once daily at night for 10 days.
You can continue applying the same topical medicines.

Brief Answer:
Looks like bacterial in nature, pimples could be milia
Detailed Answer:
According to your complaints, and the appearance of the lesions, it seems to be bacterial in nature.
I think it should go off in another 2-3 weeks.
The oral medicines will hasten the resolution of the problem.
Regarding the pimples, these could be simple milia which are harmless subepidermal cyst.
These are benign lesions that need to be removed through needling.
It is a minor procedure but first, you can give a trial of oral antibiotics.
If it doesn’t improve with antibiotics do consult a doctor and get them removed.
Let me know if there are any doubts...
