Question : I have uterine fibroids to the point that the lining of uterus is obliterated. This was determined in 2014 after 2 ultrasounds (regular and vaginal). Back in 2014, the largest fibroid was the size of a softball. I noticed that it takes an extra long time for me to urinate as well. My OB/GYN doctor says if they are not bothering me, that I should not bother them.

Hi

Since you are having uterine fibroid in usg I would advise you to do a pet CT scan to rule out if there is any chance of malignancy

Also do blood test for CA 125

My advise is to go for surgery to be on the safe side
