Brief Answer:
Can be arthritis or bursitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your health concerns ,
The pain in the hip with inability to bear weight on the leg without any history of injury can be due to an inflammation of the hip joint- arthritis or bursitis or a labral tear. You need to get an MRI scan done for proper diagnosis. Till then it is best to avoid all the painful movements, take a mild pain killer and do a hot compress in the area for relief.
I hope this answers your query.
