It may be an infected wound...

Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
Kindly upload/attach some images of the area so that I will get a better idea.
As per your history, I think it may be an infected wound.
For further assessment, I would suggest you consult with ENT specialist for a detailed examination. He may procure X-Ray and advise antibiotics, dressing as per evaluation.
Till then for the pain, you can take tablet Acetaminophen. Avoid forceful nose blowing. Maintain proper hygiene.
Hope I have answered your query.

                                    Brief Answer:
It may be thick scar/fibrous tissue...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Usually, after injury, damaged tissue is replaced by healthy tissue.
But sometimes, it may be replaced by scar tissue i.e. thick and fibrous tissue. It may take time to resolve.
So I would suggest you consult with ENT specialist for detailed examination and evaluation as suggested earlier. Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.
Hope I have answered your query.
