Brief Answer:
Would only take a Tylenol and rest.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Judging from your description I do not see any major reason to go to have it checked out in the emergency room. The impact of the hit doesn't seem to have been a major one. Some mild to moderate headache in particular where you hit it is well possible, but there are no indications of any brain damage which would require treatment. Headache may be from the hit itself, the lack of sleep as well as the anxiety from the episode, stress and anxiety can commonly trigger tension type headache.
Symptoms to watch for would be an increase in headache intensity, vomiting, double vision or visual loss, speech issues, seizures, weakness of the limbs or movement coordination difficulties, confusion or changes in behavior. I am listing these only as a precaution though, I highly doubt any such manifestations will appear.

So for the moment I would only take a Tylenol as you yourself suggest. Let me know if new symptoms appear or if there's anything else I can assist you with.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
24 hours.

Detailed Answer:
That is a good question. The risk monitoring period is generally 24 hours. After that the risk is greatly reduced already.
After 48 hours it is extremely unlikely for brain hemorrhagic complications due trauma to occur, only in elderly people with more fragile blood vessels or blood clotting issues. So considering your age after the first 24 hours you should be fine and close monitoring is not necessary.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.

Brief Answer:
Please read below

Detailed Answer:
If you have no new symptoms I don't think you should wait for precisely 24 hours to go to sleep, especially given the fact you already had a sleepless night.

You can go to bed 2-3 hours earlier.

As for the amusement park, there is no harm in that but make sure you don't exert yourself, rest is important after a head trauma. Also, I wonder if you are going to be driving and it is a long tiring drive.

There is no precise threshold naturally, but if over say a half hour drive away then perhaps it might be wiser to postpone it as a precaution.

Hi so far so good no new symptoms I will not be driving my husband will and the amusement park is just leasuire walking and some games

As per ur opinion I can go on with light activity and sleep about 3 hrs before I usually take a sleeping pill mertazapine should I forgo it this evening or take as I usually do

Current symptoms same as before no worsening
Slight headache
Little tired from lack of aleep
Other than that no new symptoms

Brief Answer:
You can take it.

Detailed Answer:
I would take mirtazapine as usual.

You might be able to sleep without it being tired and not having slept but apart from the sleep-promoting effect it also has an important anti-anxiety effect. So, given the fact that the situation already has caused some stress for you, wouldn't want you to suffer from increased anxiety due to not taking it.
