Question : I just got back from the hospital from having a seizure. I think it was caused because I take Zoloft and Vyvanse at the same time and I had been drinking alcohol for the past week. Should I stop taking the Zoloft? My doctors office does not open until Monday so I cannot find the answer. Also I legally consume medical marijuana and was concerned if I could still use that.

Thanks for the query,
Zoloft is a widely prescribed drug and seizure is not a common side effect of zoloft. There is no need to stop zoloft as of now.
However vyavanse may decrease the seizure threshold. Your neurologist might make necessary dose adjustments. As of now continue all the drugs.
Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs including marijuana while you are on neurological drugs. because these itself provoke seizures.
