Question : I just recently stopped taking anti-depressant and anti-anxiety meds. And despite feeling pretty happy mentally, I keep having daily lightheadedness and headaches. And the oddest symptom I've seen is getting chills while having an erection. Is this some sort of blood flow problem?
The meds I came off of were Setraline and Buproprion

                                    Brief Answer:
This could be due to withdrawal
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for using ask a doctor service
I can understand your concern. No this is not a blood flow problem. If you have stopped the drugs abruptly without tapering then the light headedness or headaches are because of withdrawal symptoms.
The chills during erection might be due to anxiety. If the anxiety persist then you should start the drugs again.
Thanks.

How long should withdrawal last? This has been going on for about a week and a half.

This should improve in 3-4 days.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
You should feel better in coming 3-4 days. The withdraw symptoms will decrease by own.
Thanks
