Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
Slight delay in the timing of the intake of the pill does not impact hormone balance significantly.
The prolonged cycle you experienced during the past cycle is the most likely cause of the delay in the current period. The prolonged period is likely to have occurred due to the missed pill and the subsequent hormone disturbance.
Hope you find this information helpful. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

Could missing a pill in the previous month, or taking the pill say at 8 or 8.30 some days instead of always 7am disturb my cycle for there maybe to be a delay?
Brief Answer:
Yes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing again.
There is no need to worry about chances of pregnancy because you had a period after the intercourse. Also, missing a single pill does not lead to an unprotected cycle.
Hope all your queries have been answered.
Wish you good health.
