Hello!
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service!
I understand your concern... I would like to explain that your pain seems to be of an extra-cardiac origin. It is well localized and described in a small chest area.
A differential diagnosis should be done considering a possible musculo-skeletal disorder (inflammation), pleural inflammation or even a digestive problem.
If antacids (tums) do not help, you may try an anti-inflammatory drug (like Naproxen, Ibuprofen); and if the symptoms persist I recommend to discuss with your attending internist for a possible physical exam and additional tests.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again.
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
