Question: I m 41 and been ttc for 3yrs. Medical reports say I m fine and nothing wrong with me just a fibroid as small as my little finger. I ve been placed on HCG injections, fertilaid, and presently on ovacare and folic acid for the past 2months. I m yet to to conceive. What do I do

Fibroid uterus unless symptomatic are not meddled with. Small-sized ones sometimes regress on their own without any treatment. In your case since its small, there would be no need for any intervention. It will not affect fertility provided it has not invaded the endometrium. The fibroids are usually restricted to the myometrium of the uterus.

Sometimes these fibroids can undergo degeneration leading to pain and bloody white discharge, it is then an emergence and need to be resected at the earliest.
