It will not harm the baby
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Susten is an brand name of female hormone progesterone.
It is similar to progesterone and thus does not harm the baby irrespective of the dose.
You can continue susten400.
Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track.
Wishing all the best.
Thanks

Thanks a lot for your reply. I have hypercoiled umbilical cord. I am to be induced at 39 weeks. Does stopping susten or weaning it down affect the baby in anyway. I m scared both ways, should I stop or continue.I have to stop susten by 38 weeks though.
Brief Answer:
You can stop susten.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Susten is usually given in high risk pregnancies to prevent complications. It is generally stopped at 37 weeks.
It is a natural progesterone and it will not harm your baby and stopping susten is also is not a matter of concern.
Wishing all the best.
Thanks
