Question : I m having mild pain in my throat near tonsils while swallowing for last four five days it gets bit more itrritating when I wake up from bed in morning apart from this every thing is fine , I mean, no cold, temperature etc. please advise

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, pain and difficulty while swallowing may be due tonsillitis or sore throat.

As you do not have fever so I think no need to start antibiotics at this stage.

I would suggest you to do betadine gargles. Please take warm water and liquids. In case of acidity, you can take tablet pantoprazole as acidity may also cause throat irritation. Keep yourself hydrated.

Please watch for fever, in that case you can take tablet azithromycin after physician consultation.
