Question : I'm worried about a very small hard bump i have found through vaginal wall, if I insert my fingers in vagina and rectum I can pinch it between my finger tips and it is about a thumb length inside. Is this something I should get urgently checked out

I understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a vaginal cyst.

There are many causes of vaginal cyst and they are very common at your age.

Some of the common causes are related to microtrauma or vaginal birth.

I suggest a physical examination at your gynecologist or a colposcopy.

In my opinion, there is no need to check it urgently.

Meanwhile, I suggest sitz bath in warm water.

In case of pain you may take anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three tablets a day.
