May I know your age? And what type of fracture was it? If you have X-ray reports taken after the injury, please upload here.

Injuries involving the knee joint invariably also involves ligaments and connective support tissues. Furthermore, arthritic changes develop over the course of time in the knee affected by the previous injury.

The knee pain may or may not be due to these factors; however, based on the details you provided, these are the two most common causes of your knee pain. I'd suggest discussing with your treating doctor/orthopedician and plan further evaluation.
