Brief Answer:
Surgery is the best option.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached X-ray. You have an intra articular comminuted fracture of lower end of radius. Since the bone has broken into multiple fragments and the joint is also involved, surgical fixation is the best option for you. It will help in an early recovery. Using a cast or bandage cannot provide a proper reduction and fixation in this case. It is best to to go with your orthopedician's advice and get the surgery done.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
