Brief Answer:
Try to calm down, anxiety is worsening your symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

First of all you need to calm down, even if your Doctor thinks that you may suffer from MS, tests should be carried out in order to confirm or exclude it.

Just a suspicion for MS doesn't mean that you have some emergency condition.

It is true that anxiety disorder may cause symptoms similar to yours besides MS.

I think that you should deal first with the anxiety that this situation is causing, for this you can see your primary care Doctor who can prescribe short term antianxety drugs for you.

Later on you should continue evaluation with your Neurologist for a definitive diagnosis and treatment for your symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
