I Need Help Finding Out What This Patch Of Reddish/purple

Question: I need help finding out what this patch of reddish/purple scaly skin on my belly is. Its somewhat soft to touch but has a ball the size of a dime right in the middle . Does not hurt, but feels like a cysts with liquid in it .

I see the photo you attached.
I think it is a sebaceous cyst. They are formed when sebaceous gland duct us deformed and blocked. The sebaceous oil secretions are gathered inside forming cyst.
Most probably with traumatic origin. They grow slowly over time and are not dangerous.

You can go to doctor to drain and remove it.
